Evergreen Oil, Closed Loop

Engine oils, hydraulic oils, and industrial lubricants can be formulated with re-refined base lube oil, at the same quality as virgin oils and with great benefit to the environment.

Used oil is a hazardous waste polluting the ground and water, and when burned as a fuel, it releases harmful metals and other toxic contaminants.

With a specialized fleet of trucks, Evergreen collects used drain oil across California from a variety of sources. Collected drain oil is safely transported to our permitted facility in Newark, California, and re-refined to produce water-white, superior lube base oils which can be formulated with additives, compounded and blended to produce standard lubricants; closing the recycling loop from engine to engine.

Re-Refined Lube Oil

Now the oil you drain from an engine can be collected, cleaned and purified until it meets the highest quality standards of the petroleum industry. Then, the recycled lubricants made from Evergreen’s oil with the introduction of additives at the Nation's leading blending facilities, can be poured into your engine with confidence. This closed loop, from the engine to the re-refinery and back to the engine is the essence of Evergreen’s business. Through the company’s recycling program, America can reduce both the drilling off its coasts and its dependence on foreign oil.

The re-refining technology developed by our affiliate Chemical Engineering Partners, is based on thin film evaporation, distillation and hydro-treatment process; and through a grant from the Integrated Waste Management Board, Evergreen’s base oil has been engine tested and proven to meet API and ILSAC standards.
