Founder of KTI and Evergreen Holdings Inc., Mr. Voogd is a graduate chemical engineer from Stanford and USC. He was a Trustee of Scripps College for Women and the Loyola Marymount University, and a Board member of the Alzeta Corporation. Mr. Voogd is the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Evergreen Holdings, Inc.

squareDr. Harold Brown

An Evergreen Board member since 1988, Dr. Brown was formerly Secretary of Defense, President of Caltech, and Head of the Lawrence Livermore National Labs.

Dr. Harold Brown has served in the Boards of IBM, Mattel, Cummings Engines, Phillip Morris, and the Rand Corporation; as well as a member of the think tank for the Center of Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, DC.

squareWilliam Reilly

Former Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency under President George Bush, Sr.

Mr. Reilly is a member of the Board of DuPont, and a visiting professor at Stanford University. A graduate of Yale, he is currently President & CEO of Aqua International Partners, an investment fund for water projects in developing countries.

squareCalvin G. Barnes

Graduate of USC, University of Kansas (Military) and Stanford Executive Program.

The former President of Evergreen Holdings, Inc., Mr. Barnes has 40 years of chemical engineering and business administration experience. In his oil refining industry career, he has held executive positions with Unocal Chemicals Division, Air Products & Chemicals, and Champlin Petroleum Company.

squareHector V. Barreto

Our newest Board member Hector Barreto brings to Evergreen valuable business experience from his long history in the corporate and public sectors. Appointed by President Bush and approved by Congress in 2001, he served for five years as Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Mr. Barreto is also a former Chairman of the Latin Business Association, and past Vice Chairman for the U. S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Hector is presently Chairman of the Latino Coalition and member of the Commission for Economic Development of the State of California.

squareJake Voogd, Chief Executive Officer

A Chemical Engineering graduate from Stanford and USC, Mr.. Voogd was previously President and CEO of KTI, a $200 million European chemical engineering contractor.

Mr. Voogd has headed the Evergreen Group in the USA since its inception in 1983, with vision and leadership that has proven successful for the company.

squareGary Colbert, President/COO

Mr. Colbert joined the Company in December 2001 as VP/General Manager initially responsible for running the Refinery and Evergreen's Northern California Division, bringing 15 years of prior operations management experience in environmental services, hazardous materials and waste treatment industries that included Romic Environmental, Philip Service Corporation, Allwaste Transportation & Remediation Services, Riedel Environmental, and Rockwell International.

In November 2006 Mr. Colbert was promoted to Executive VP, taking a leading role in the company's expansion plans. In June 2008 he was appointed by the Board of Directors as President & Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Colbert has a B.S. degree in Environmental and Occupational Health from the California State University, Northridge.

squareCal Barnes, Co-chairman of the Management Committee

Responsible for the Technical Direction of the company, Mr. Barnes has held a variety of executive positions over 44 years in the oil and petrochemical industries; including 20 years with Evergreen since starting up the Newark re-refinery in 1986. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Evergreen Holdings, Inc.. Mr. Barnes is a graduate from USC, University of Kansas, and the Stanford Executive Program.

squareJesus Romero, VP Administration/Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Romero joined Evergreen on September 2000, marking the starting point of the company's successful financial turn-around. He is a CPA with a B.S. degree in accounting from the National University of Mexico.

Mr. Romero has over 30 years of senior management experience, including the positions of CFO/VP Finance & Administration for Wisdom Imports Inc., Irvine CA, and VP Corporate Development & Wholesale Operations with Labatt-USA, Norwalk, Connecticut. He has also acted as a business consultant on accounting, financial and organizational matters.
