Used automotive oil can be incredibly damaging to the environment. Not only can it foul potable water and otherwise productive soil, it can also be disruptive to sewage treatment processes. Proper drain oil collection, such as offered by Evergreen, is essential to protect the community from the hazards posed by the escape of used oil into the environment. Evergreen offers something more than just simple collection, however. Instead of drain oil disposal or filtering to create recycled products we use a proprietary process to actually re-refine the waste products. This process also works on oily waste water.

There are a number of advantages to our hazardous waste disposal system. First of all, our drain oil collection services help to minimize environmental contamination. We then are able to reclaim three quarts of lube stock from every gallon we process. During our re-refining process we are able to produce fuel oils, asphalt flux and lube base stock. Much less energy is required in our process than to refine the some amount of product from crude. Of course, when we are able to recycle waste, less crude is required from foreign suppliers. These are just a few of the factors that allow us to confidently state that our six step re-refinement process is superior to any other drain oil disposal or recycling methods.
